Prensa FAES approves the Foundation's good governance and management code

/23.06.15/.- The Board of the FAES Foundation has approved in its ordinary meeting in June the Foundation's code of good governance and good management practice and the suitability conditions of the entities it works with. With both documents, which have been published on the Foundation's website, FAES shows once again its commitment to transparency and becomes one of the top political foundations in this field.

/13.02.15/.- The FAES Foundation has celebrated the second edition of its ‘Economy Table’, on the subject of Greece and the future of the Euro, attended by the director of the Chair in International Finance System at the IE Business School, Fernando Fernández, and the Chief Economist of CEMEX, Manuel Balmaseda. Moderated by the director of Economy and Public Policy of FAES Foundation, Miguel Marín, they have exchanged views about the potential evolution of the negotiations between Greece and the Eurozone; the consequences for Spain and the monetary union of an eventual Greek euro exit, and the lessons that should be learned from the Greek crisis.

At the FAES Seminar held on 6 March in Barcelona, professor Félix Ovejero mentioned the fact that the most frequent surnames in Catalonia are not substantially different from the most frequent ones in the rest of Spain. It is perhaps a counterintuitive statement due to the identity and secessionist background noise that strains our political life. That is precisely the reason why it made sense to remark it.
