_ The Foundation chaired by Aznar is ranked 60 in the top think tanks worldwide classification
The Foundation for Social Studies and Analysis, FAES, is the best placed Spanish think tank in the ranking of the top 150 think tanks worldwide, according to the report prepared annually by the Program of International Relations at the University of Pennsylvania. The Foundation presided by Jose Maria Aznar ranked No. 60 in this classification.
The ranking takes into account think tanks in the U.S. and around the world, and is part of the report ‘2012 Global Go To Think Tanks Report and Policy Advice’, which has gathered 6,603 institutions in 182 countries. Placed behind FAES in the world ranking are other Spanish institutions such as CIDOB, FRIDE, Real Instituto Elcano and Institución Futuro. The report was launched at the headquarters of the World Bank in Washington DC and at the United Nations in New York.
