Starting Monday 28th, in Madrid, the Fundación FAES celebrates a new edition of the FAES Latin American Leaders Training Program. Sessions and meeting with personalities that will deal with the foundations of freedom, democracy and the rule of law.
During their stain in Madrid, the 20 young participants in the Programme will hold meetings with political personalities and representatives of institutions and companies, and will take part in conferences, colloquia and training workshops given by FAES expert collaborators.
The FAES Programme for the Training of Ibero-American Leaders has been held since 2000 with the aim of contributing to the strengthening of institutions and the rule of law in Latin America and of feeding the chain of transmission of the values of freedom and democracy. Its participants are young people linked to institutions and organizations related to FAES in different countries of the region and that have a notable political projection.
Prior to the sessions in Madrid, the participants passed through Brussels, where they met with the director of FAES and MEP, Javier Zarzalejos, and the secretary general of the EPP, Antonio López-Isturiz.
